This publication is full of photos of prominent Tasmanians and even has photos of prize winning livestock. During the war years photos of soldiers who served in the A.I.F. were regularly published.
An index to the photographs of WW1 Servicemen & Women in the Tasmanian Weekly Courier magazines was compiled by Wendy K Knolle in 1995 and is available at many family history libraries.

The Sandhurst Collection Registers

The registers record nearly all the officer cadets who passed through the Royal Military Academy Woolwich and the Royal Military College Sandhurst between 1790-1946 with gaps. The staff registers 1802 -1939 also include details of professors, military staff and servants. Search the index free.
