WW1 photographic collection found

An article on channel seven's Sunday Night has revealed a collection of 3,000 photographic plates taken during WW1. A local photographer and his wife from the rural village of Vignacourt in France recorded the daily comings and goings of the soldiers that spent time in the area during WW1.

For more details about the photographs and the time period they were taken visit the Australian War Memorial http://www.awm.gov.au/blog/2011/02/25/world-war-one-treasure-trove-found/

Perhaps you may be lucky enough to identify a soldier in one of these photos?
